Another busy weekend for the crews from Cashel Red Cross. Friday night, we had an Ambulance and crew covering the 8km and 5km run in New Inn.
Then today and tomorrow we have the National Drift Championships taking place at Tipperary Raceway.
And also tomorrow, we are providing Ambulance cover at this year's Carlow Stages Rally.
A big thanks as always to our dedicated crews for giving up their time week after week to ensure the safe running of all these events.

Day 1 of a busy 3 day weekend of Motorsport is underway here at Tipperary Raceway. We have practice taking place this evening and then the high octane fun gets underway tomorrow afternoon, with the Lightning Rod European Championship, the 1ltr World championship and Ninja Kart Internations cup, so some good entertainment to be had over the next 2 days.
And of course, our dedicated Ambulance crews will be on hand all weekend to watch over the competitors and spectators alike.

If you like what we do, and would like to learn valuable life saving skills, then whats stopping you ...... come and talk to us, we'd be happy to have you, and all training is provided.

Something a little different at Tipperary Raceway yesterday, Lightning McQueen came along to say hello at the family day held at the track. There was great entertainment all day from kids activities, racing and drift demos and I definately think that meeting our own Anita put an extra big smile on Lightning's face 😁.
As always, our Ambulance crew were on hand to take care of everybody. It was clear to see that a great day was had by all.

What an amazing weekend we had at Tipperary Raceway for the Hotsocks Testimonial banger meeting and Demolition Derby. It certainly was a huge HIT with all our crew over the two days.
It was a pleasure to work alongside Preferential Safety - Russell Rally Rescue and our colegues from Tipp Town Red Cross and Nenagh Red Cross, a huge thanks to both Branches for all their help, and of course, we must thank all our own Cashel members, who as always go above and beyond week after week, we do appreciate you all.
It was an amazing spectacle to see over 100 of these cars on track over the two days, battleing it out until only one car was left running on Sunday evening.
This was a truly enjoyable weekend and definately one of the perks of being part of a Branch like the Cashel Red Cross Branch.

What a busy weekend it was for our Ambulance crews. We started it all off with 3 adrenaline filled days at the West Cork Rally in Clonakilty, which included an amazing night stage on Friday night followed by some of the most iconic stages in the country over the Saturday and Sunday.
Then on St. Patricks day, we were delighted to be asked to provide Ambulance cover for the Cahir St. Patricks day parade, while another one of our Ambulances was covering the Carrick Wheelers cycle race alongside our collegues from Carrick on Suir Red Cross.
As always, a huge thanks must go to our dedicated crews who give up their time to ensure these events run safely.

If you or someone you know would like to be part of this team, and learn some amazing lifesaving skills in a friendly and fun enviroment, then why not contact us and we will be happy to point you in the right direction. No experience needed, we provide all training in house, with hands on experience alongside our very experienced EMT's.

It has been an incredibly busy 2025 for all our valued members in the Cashel Red Cross branch.
It is a testiment to their continued dedication to training and providing the best service they can to their community and all the events we cover throughout each year.
So as we conclude 2025, can I say a huge thanks to all of you for everything you do.
Heres looking forward to everything that is ahead of us in 2026, and beyond.
And dont forget, we are always looking for new members to join our team, no experience is needed, all training will be provided. So if you think you would enjoy working with this amazing team of volunteers, dont hesitate to make contact with us, and we will be happy to guide you on the right path.

Last duty of 2025 for the crews from Cashel Red Cross. A tandom drifting event here at Tipperary Raceway.
Something a little different from the norm. But when you come in the gate of this great venue, you are always guaranteed great entertainment.

As the dust settles on what was an excellent, but busy weekend for the Ambulance crews from The Cashel Branch of the Red Cross, we set our sights firmly on the next big event, and we don't have to wait long for this one.... and boy, this is going to be a good one. On October 17th, 18th and 19th Tipperary Raceway just outside Cashel are hosting the Speed Weekend 2025 event.
For any of the petrol heads out there, this is going to be worth pencilling into your diaries. All information is on the poster.

Day 2 here at the Cork 20 Rally, another very busy weekend for the crews from the Cashel Red Cross Branch. We also have crews out today at Tipperary Raceway. It's Motorsport all the way this weekend.
