Rosegreen is a small village at a cross roads between Cashel, Clerihan, Fethard and Golden residing in the heart of the Golden Vale. It is best known for being home to Ballydoyle Racing Stables, which is widely acknowledged to be the finest training establishment in the world. Rosegreen has a great community spirit enriched by various organisations including the Development Association, the Rosegr

een Players, the Tidy Towns, the Soccer Club and the GAA club. Rosegreen Community led by our GAA club has developed a five year strategic Community/GAA plan, which maps out the future direction for our Community/GAA. This is key for all in our community as we aim to build on our past and plan for the future. A Steering Committee for this plan was formed initially and all our community were invited to a brainstorming session, where up to 300 ideas were generated. There were five focus groups formed by volunteers at the brainstorming session, who took the ideas generated as the basis to formulate the plan. The five focus groups developed a plan on the following areas

A huge congratulations to our Secretary of the Rosegreen Development Association, Marie Devitt, on her worthy selection as Cashel Lions Club Person of the Year. Marie has been instrumental in the development of our community facilities for many years & provides countless hours volunteering in our parish Church & Tidy Villages group.
Marie is also chairperson of our School’s Board of Management and in her spare time gives countless hours to Cahir Golf Club, serving as President in 2025.
We couldn’t think of a more deserving selection. Congrats Marie 👏

The Charity Cups/Shield finals will take place this Sunday at 6pm on the Astro pitch, with presentations to the five local charities and teams at 7pm in the Community Hall. We invite you to join us to support the teams and help celebrate this valuable community event, where we’ll be making small donations to some wonderful local organisations and sharing a cuppa afterwards.
