Cashel & District Social Service is hosting a delightful coffee morning this Friday, 6th December, from 10 am to 1 pm at John Street. All proceeds will support our Meals on Wheels programme.

Come along for a warm cup of coffee, delicious treats, and a chance to win some fantastic prizes in our raffle! 🎁 It's a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones, all while supporting a great cause.

🚗🍝Cashel Meals on Wheels🍝🚗

Just a reminder to everyone as the weather becomes colder that we provide, hot & nutritious meals to elderly & vulnerable people in our community.

Short or long term usage of our service is also available.

Our service covers Cashel, Knockavilla, Dundrum, Golden, Boherlahan, Dualla, Rosegreen, & surrounding areas.

It is available three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).

Our town is about to light up like never before! Join us for the Cashel Christmas Lights Switch-On, happening on Saturday, 2nd December, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm at the Cashel Plaza. It's time to kick off the festive season in style! 🎉

Get ready for an evening buzzing with festive vibes!

🎶 We'll have St Patrick's Brass Band Cashel and the Diarmuid O'Hurley Pipe Band Cashel filling the air with Christmas tunes that'll have you tapping your feet and singing along in no time! 🎷🥁

And guess what? A certain jolly man in a red suit is rumoured to make a grand entrance! 🎅 So, kids (and kids at heart), keep your eyes wide open – you never know who might show up!

We're inviting all parents and children of Cashel to come along, sing some Christmas carols, and share in the joy. 🎶👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Let's make some merry memories together!

A big shoutout to our local businesses and Tipperary County Council for making this event possible. Without their ongoing support we would not be able to have our town light up for Christmas ! 🙌

Cashel Chamber of Commerce President Mr. Martin Lynch has welcomed the free parking initiative for the Christmas Shopping period in Cashel.

Speaking of the free parking initiative, Chamber President Mr. Lynch said; the initiative will see a suspension of parking charges every Saturday in Main Street and Friar Street Car Parks during December. It will begin on Saturday December 3rd and will continue for every Saturday until December 31st.

As Cashel is getting ready to have one of the biggest Christmas shopping seasons ever, Cashel Chamber are doing all we can in conjunction with Tipperary Co. Council to welcome shoppers into Cashel Town.

Continuing Chamber President Mr. Lynch said; it is important for Cashel to look and feel festive and this year the Chamber has invested a substantial amount of money in the upgrading and introduction of new Christmas Lights.

I want to acknowledge the financial assistance we have received from the Businesses of Cashel as without their ongoing support the Chamber would not be able to continue with the Christmas Lights project.

Concluding Chamber President Mr. Lynch said; I would like to thank Tipperary Co. Council and Mr. Anthony Coleman for their ongoing support and assistance in this free parking initiative and I would also like to remind people that Cashel has a fantastic retail offering.

These local businesses are the economic backbone of Cashel and I would encourage everybody to shop local in the run up to Christmas and to keep supporting our local economy.

Volunteers and Volunteer Drivers wanted for Cashel Meals on Wheels

Drivers are required approx 4 hours per week. They must have full clean driving licence over 25 and under 70 and be confident driving a commercial Van.
