Whether you are an experienced writer, enjoy putting pen to paper from time to time, or simply want to explore your creativity in a welcoming environment, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, share ideas and be inspired by the stories and experiences that shape our communities.

Following the recent expansion of the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant, Kerry County Council will hold a series of information evenings for property owners across the county over the coming weeks.

The Estate Enhancement Fund 2026 will provide targeted small scale grant funding support to eligible residents associations/groups and community groups operating within Kerry County Council built housing estates in Co. Kerry.

🎨 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐒 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

As part of this year’s Cahersiveen Music & Arts Festival arts programme, curated by Ciarraí Art Nexus, applications are now open for The Windows of Cahersiveen — a unique public exhibition transforming shopfronts and spaces across the town into a vibrant visual arts trail.

Featuring 20 participating premises throughout Cahersiveen, the exhibition will showcase a mix of emerging and established artists, alongside invited national and international artists and works selected through this open competition.

Artists are invited to submit work across:
• Painting
• Limited print-edition
• Sculpture
• Ceramics
• Drawing
• Textiles
• Suitable 3D work

📍 Exhibition Dates: 27 July – 7 August 2026
📍 CMAF Festival Dates: 31 July – 2 August 2026
📍 Submission Deadline: Saturday, 6 June 2026 at 5pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to exhibit work as part of a town-wide cultural programme on the Skellig Coast during one of the region’s flagship arts and music festivals.
