South Kerry Development Partnership CLG is currently recruiting a Kerry Social Farming Alternative Respite Programme Leader to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support an innovative, community-based respite programme for people with disabilities across Co. Kerry - using social farming, local resources and strong community partnerships to create meaningful experiences.
🔹 Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
🔹 12-month fixed-term contract
🔹 Salary: €32,182 - €44,931
🔹 Locations: Cahersiveen, Killorglin, Killarney or Kenmare.
We’re looking for someone with:
✔ Experience in social care or working with people with disabilities
✔ Knowledge of person-centred planning & community development
✔ Strong organisational & communication skills
✔ Interest in social farming/agriculture (desirable)

The programme will utilise social farming, local resources, and community partnerships to create inclusive and meaningful experiences for participants and their families.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in social care
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and community development
• Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills
• An understanding of social farming and/or agricultural settings (desirable)
