Caherlistrane Kilcoona Community Council Caherlistrane/Kilcoona Community Council has been in operation since 1975. We continuously work to improve local amenities and our environs.

We are a voluntary community organisation who engage with and enhance the lives of members of our community. Caherlistrane Kilcoona Community Council has been in operation since 1975. We are a voluntary community group whose members are made up of residents from the local area. Our aim is to promote and improve community life within the parishes of Kilcoona and Caherlistrane, and to positively inf

luence the development of the area. We meet every month (normally the third Wednesday) alternating between the Parochial House, Corner Chapel and the Caherlistrane Community Centre. Visitors and New members are always very welcome.

🎶 An Evening of Song & Story at Kilcoona Social Centre 🎶

Join us on Thursday, 23rd July for a special night of music featuring three outstanding performers: Ger O'Donnell, Don Stiffe and Trevor Sexton.

Ger O'Donnell is renowned for his rich vocals and heartfelt interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk songs. Local man, Don Stiffe is one of Ireland's most respected folk singers and songwriters, celebrated for his powerful voice and captivating stage presence. Trevor Sexton brings warmth, humour and exceptional musicianship, with a repertoire spanning folk, ballads and original compositions.

Set in the intimate surroundings of Kilcoona Social Centre, this promises to be a memorable evening where every seat feels close to the music.
