Purple House Cancer Support is looking for a compassionate, organised and experienced person to join our team in Bray.

This is an important and rewarding position. As the first point of contact for many people reaching out to Purple House, you will help provide a warm, professional and reassuring welcome to individuals and families affected by cancer.

📍 Bray, Co. Wicklow
🕘 Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm
🏢 Office-based
💼 Salary: HSE Clerical Grade IV
📅 Closing date: Friday, 16 October 2026 at 5.00pm

Applicants should have at least three years’ experience in a similar role within a medical environment, along with excellent interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.

We were thrilled to attend the Private Healthcare Awards last night, where our Cancer Care at Work programme was shortlisted in the *Best Workplace Mental Health & Wellbeing* category. 🎉

Cancer Care at Work is a national programme designed to equip employers with the skills, knowledge, and practical tools needed to support employees affected by cancer, particularly when returning to work following treatment. The programme aims to help organisations create compassionate, inclusive, and supportive workplaces where employees can navigate their cancer journey with dignity and confidence.
Being recognised alongside so many innovative healthcare initiatives was a fantastic honour and reflects the growing importance of workplace support for people affected by cancer.

Cancer Thrive and Survive is a six-week self-management programme at Purple House, designed to support you as you adjust to life after treatment.

Across the six weeks, the programme will help you manage ongoing symptoms, build confidence and develop practical ways to support your health and wellbeing — all in a supportive space with others who understand.
