Rehearsals continue this Sunday as we prepare for our Night at the Movies: Orchestral Edition! Our incredible musicians are working hard to bring you an unforgettable evening of iconic movie music. From the sweeping themes of The Mission and Out of Africa, to the excitement of Star Wars, Mission Impossible and James Bond, right through to classic Western favourites - there’s something for every movie lover!

Message in a Bottle - a simple idea that can help save lives!

Message in a Bottle is a free Lions Club initiative that helps emergency services quickly access vital medical information in an emergency. If emergency services are called to your home, they know exactly where to look for the information they need, when time really matters.

MIAB containers can be obtained from Athy Lions Club bookshop, A&A pharmacy on Duke Street, McCabes pharmacy on Leinster Street.

Marking the start of National Biodiversity Week, this immersive event brings together community values through eco-workshops, art installations, and live performances centred on Berba, the mythical Goddess of the River Barrow.

Tickets are €10 you can pay by revolut - 0866097295 just leave your name and phone number when you pay. Alternatively a Lions Club member will be at The ARCH/Dreamland at 7 to 7.30pm on Wednesday evening and in Bradburys Thursday from 1 to 2 pm for cash payments. Raffle will be Thursday at 6pm.

In the last few months Athy Lions Club has made donations to Womens Integrated Network, St Vincent De Paul, Athy First Responders, St Vincent Hospital and Cloverlodge Nursing Home. We thank everyone who has donated to Athy Lions Club
