In September, we welcomed Matti Lankinen as our Guest of the Month ✨ A visual artist based in Turku, Lankinen has led street art projects and workshops across Finland for many years. This autumn, he took his practice abroad for the first time when he joined us to facilitate a graffiti workshop as part of our Budapestünk event organized in collaboration with FiDo Ifjúsági Központ. In our interview, he reflects on his artistic journey and explores the many ways street art can foster creativity, wellbeing, and a sense of community.

Meet our new EDUFI intern, Lotta, who started her six-month internship at FinnAgora this week! 👋

Boldog őst! I'm beyond delighted to begin my internship at FinnAgora this Autumn and contribute to its diverse activities around Budapest and Hungary at large. With a background in both business and filmmaking, I am particularly excited to gain firsthand experience of how film festivals operate behind the scenes through my work with the upcoming Finnish Film Days / Finn Filmnapok in February.

Though new to Budapest, I'm already captivated by its impressive architecture and vibrant atmosphere. I look forward to exploring the rich cultural life and, as an enthusiastic paddler, also discovering the city from the waters of Danube!

Welcome to the team Lotta! ✨🇭🇺
