Célunk az, hogy teret biztosítsunk ennek a folyamatosan növekvő, egyre színesebb közösségnek, és lehetőséget biztosítsunk az interkulturális találkozásra, tanulásra, közös élményekre.

Mira is the intercultural community of the Artemisszió Foundation. Our aim is to give space for this on-growing, more and more colourful community, as well as to the intercultural encounter, mutual learning and experiences.

Cooking, sharing, and connecting through food! 🇹🇳

At our latest Cooking Together event, we gathered at Dankó Udvar for an evening filled with delicious Tunisian flavours, and community.

This time, our friend Musti was joined by Chayma, who introduced us to a traditional Tunisian dish and guided us through the preparation process. Together, we cooked a hearty one-pot meal with couscous, meat, chickpeas, and plenty of aromatic spices. We also prepared a fresh salad and had the chance to taste special Tunisian tea 🫖

A big thank you to Chayma for sharing their knowledge, recipes, and culture with us, and to everyone who joined, cooked, helped, talked, laughed, and shared the meal together 💛

Day 2 of our Women’s Training for Migrant Women! 💜

The second day of our training was all about connection, information, and community as we hosted our Women NGO Fair, bringing migrant women together with organisations working across migration, women’s rights, integration, and community support in Hungary 🇭🇺

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to meet representatives from different NGOs, learn more about their work and services, ask questions directly, and discover where they can turn for information, guidance, and support.

A big thank you to all the organisations, representatives, and participants who joined us and helped create such an open and welcoming space.

💜 A look back at Day 1 of our Women’s Training for Migrant Women!

Our first day brought together migrant women living in Hungary for a day dedicated to migration, legal rights, access to reliable information, and, most importantly, connection and community.

⚖️ Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to learn more about migration and residency regulations in Hungary, ask questions related to their own situations, and gain practical knowledge to help them better understand and navigate their rights.

A big thank you to Dr Valéria Eszter Horváth PhD for sharing her legal expertise and creating space for participants’ questions, and to Ősz Kamilla and Dr Kőszegi Anna from Helpers Hungary for providing practical insights into immigration procedures, residence permits, and recent regulations.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed with their questions, experiences, and openness 🤝💜

Just a little over a week to go until we celebrate Mira’s 10th birthday together! 🥳

And now, finally, we can show you what we’ve got planned for this special occasion.

🎈 16:00 – LET THE BIRTHDAY PARTY BEGIN!
We’ll be waiting for you with games, fun, and, of course, a good old piñata to smash! And while you enjoy the games, you can look at the best photos of the last ten years, in our Mira photo exhibition.

🍴 FEAST – A TRUE MIRA TRADITION
No proper Mira celebration would be complete without sharing some food together!
Once again, Musti will be serving up the feast, so if you’ve been missing those legendary spice combinations, make sure you arrive on time. (Based on our experience, the delicious dishes don’t tend to stick around for very long.)

💃🕺 AND TO END THE NIGHT…
We’re going to dance out all the joy of the past 10 years!
BAZSKI will be taking care of the vibes, so make sure you bring your dancing shoes!

A lakomát ezúttal is Musti szolgáltatja, úgyhogy, ha hiányoznak az elképesztő fűszerkombinációi, érkezz időben (Tapasztalataink szerint ugyanis a finomságok nem szoktak sokáig árválkodni az asztalon.)

💃🕺 ÉS AMIVEL ZÁRJUK AZ ESTÉT…
Kitáncoljuk magunkból az elmúlt 10 év minden örömét!
A hangulatról pedig BAZSKI gondoskodik, szóval a tánccipőket semmiképp ne hagyjátok otthon.
