𝟐𝟗𝟎 ragazzi, suoni, risate e tanta voglia di sperimentare durante il laboratorio “𝙉𝙪𝙤𝙫𝙞 𝙎𝙪𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙤 𝙉𝙪𝙤𝙫𝙤” di al 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨.

Un grazie enorme a Ornella Salimbene, che ha concepito tutta questa bellissima iniziativa, e a Tonia Tommasi, che ci ha ospitati e ha organizzato con cura tutta la giornata. ❤️

Un agraïment enorme a Ornella Salimbene, que ha concebut i ha posat en marxa tota aquesta iniciativa tan bonica, i a Tonia Tommasi, que ens ha acollit i ha organitzat amb molta cura tota la jornada. ❤️

What happens when 𝟐𝟗𝟎 students are invited to look at everyday discarded materials… and listen to them differently? 🎶♻️

On 𝟏𝟕 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, at the 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨, Rocco Papia led a series of “𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝” workshops with 290 students from the 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

A day of experimentation, making, listening and playing — discovering how materials can become unexpected musical instruments and how creativity can change the way we look at what surrounds us.

These sessions were made possible thanks to the incredible work of 𝐎𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞, the real 𝘥𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘹 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 behind the whole initiative. ❤️
A huge thank you to Ornella for making this encounter possible, and to 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚 too for hosting us at the Polito.

El 𝟏𝟕 𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞, al 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨, Rocco Papia va conduir els tallers “𝐍𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐮𝐧 𝐦𝐨́𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐮” amb 290 alumnes de l’𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨.

Un dia d’experimentació, creació, escolta i joc, descobrint com els materials poden convertir-se en instruments musicals inesperats i com la creativitat pot canviar la nostra manera de mirar allò que ens envolta.

Aquestes sessions han estat possibles gràcies a la feina extraordinària d’𝐎𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞, la veritable 𝘥𝘦𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘹 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 de tota la iniciativa. ❤️

Rocco will lead the “New Sounds for a New World” workshops, organised by with students from Angiolo Gambaro School, and later join a round table with the on "Environmental Citizen Science".

📅 𝟭𝟴 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 — 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮̀ 𝗱𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼
Rocco will take part in "CASES 2026 — Persona, ambiente, creatività", a seminar bringing together researchers and scientists around the relationships between people, environment and creativity.

We’re particularly happy to see artistic practice entering this dialogue. Rocco says he feels a little like he has “sneaked into a room full of brilliant scientists”… 😄
