Egyesek Youth Association We are complete with you! Egyesek Youth Association is a community of active youth and young professionals.

We contribute to build communities where people are aware of their own freedom of choice, they do what they love and connect with each other peacefully. The aim of our activities is that – we, young people – explore our own strengths and resources using them consciously to fulfill our personal and professional life. Marci spent 8 months volunteering in France at a youth centre, where he gained not only professional and language experience, but also grew a lot on a personal level.

The ESC programme gave him the opportunity to become more independent, meet people from different cultures, build confidence, and gain a clearer idea of the direction he would like to take in life.

For us as an organisation, it is especially inspiring to see how much a meaningful international experience can give to a young person — new connections, new perspectives, personal growth, and memories that last a lifetime. Marci’s story is a great reminder that sometimes a new environment, a new community, or even a single conversation can be enough to give life a new direction.

What if dance and filmmaking could become tools for youth work?
Our partner, Creative Space, is inviting young people and youth workers to Dance Through The Lens: an 8-day Erasmus+ training course exploring movement, cinematography, visual storytelling and creative ways of connecting with young people.
📍 Creative Space, Hollókő, Hungary
📅 26 October – 3 November 2026
During the training, you’ll experiment with:
🎬 videography, filming and editing
💃 contemporary dance, improvisation and composition
🎞️ visual storytelling and video art
🧩 creative methods for youth work
🌍 creating short films around inclusion, peace and active participation
You’ll work intensively for around 8–9 hours a day and collaborate with participants from 6 European countries: Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia and Ukraine.
We’re looking for participants who:
→ are 18–35 years old
→ live in one of the 6 participating countries
→ are involved in youth work, either as a volunteer or professional
→ are open to dancing, moving, filming and being filmed
→ can participate for the full duration of the training
→ are willing to organise a short dissemination activity in their home community afterwards
💶 Accommodation, food and programme costs are covered through Erasmus+. Travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ limits.

APERO: tanuljunk egymástól az összetartóbb közösségekért

Az APERO projekt Németország, Spanyolország, Magyarország, Bulgária és Szerbia civil közösségeit kapcsolta össze, hogy job shadowingon keresztül tanuljanak egymástól.

Kollégáink különböző megközelítéseket ismerhettek meg az ifjúsági munka, a kommunikáció, az önkéntesség, a közösségi terek és a szervezeti működés terén, miközben az Egyesek Szécsényben nemzetközi partnereket is fogadott.

A projekt egyik legfontosabb tanulsága számunkra, hogy az erős közösségek alapja a bizalom, a felelősségvállalás, a valódi részvétel és az egymástól való tanulás.

Az APERO nem kész megoldások átvételéről, hanem a jó gyakorlatok helyi valósághoz igazításáról és hosszú távú partnerségek építéséről szólt.

APERO: learning from each other for stronger communities

APERO project brought together grassroots organisations from Germany, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia to exchange experiences through job shadowing.

Our colleagues explored different approaches to youth work, communication, volunteering, community spaces and organisational development — while Egyesek also hosted international partners in Szécsény.

From Berlin to Spain, Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia, the project showed us that strong community work is built on trust, responsibility, meaningful participation and learning from each other.

APERO was not about copying solutions, but about adapting good practices to local realities and building partnerships that can continue beyond the project.

Miért érdemes nyáron önkénteskedni?

Mert egy nyár nemcsak a pihenésről szólhat. Lehet benne utazás, új emberek, közös élmények, kihívások – és közben valami olyat is tehetsz, aminek valódi értelme van.

Az önkéntesség jó alkalom arra, hogy kiszakadj a megszokott hétköznapokból, kipróbáld magad új helyzetekben, új dolgokat tanulj, és közben egy közösség részévé válj. Ráadásul olyan emberekkel és történetekkel találkozhatsz, amelyek még jóval a nyár után is veled maradnak.

Why spend your summer volunteering?

Because summer can be more than just a break. It can be a chance to meet new people, discover new places, learn new skills, and do something meaningful at the same time.
Volunteering gives you the opportunity to step out of your everyday routine, connect with an international community, contribute to a cause you care about, and create memories that stay with you long after summer is over.

Maybe a little more adventurous, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Két hét játék, mozgás, alkotás, nevetés és rengeteg új találkozás Szécsényben. 💚

Az idei nyári táborban helyi gyerekek és nemzetközi önkéntesek töltötték meg élettel az Egyesek Ifiházat. A közös programok során új barátságok születtek, a gyerekek bátrabban próbálták ki magukat angolul, és közben egy csomó olyan élménnyel gazdagodtak, amit biztosan magukkal visznek.
