We are a group of Christians from various churches who have a passion for public speaking and want to use it as a tool to spread God’s gospel.

The Shatin Evangel Toastmasters are a group of Christians with a passion of public speaking, and we would like to help anyone improve on their communication and leadership skills. We welcome anyone who wants to improve his/her public speaking skills. One needs not be a Christian to join.

Dear Readers,

Having dedicated a decade to Toastmasters and served as President three times at the Shatin Evangel Toastmasters Club, I'm deeply grateful for everyone's support and encouragement.

They say yesterday paves the way for tomorrow. The past isn't just history—it's our training ground. Without those yesterdays, there'd be no tomorrows to look forward to.

Rather than preaching theories, I believe stories resonate deeper. So, let me share mine. A decade ago, I barely knew English, and public speaking filled me with nerves and self-doubt. But Toastmasters transformed me, and so did the incredible people here. I opened myself up to growth, and the results speak for themselves.

I'm living proof of what Toastmasters can achieve. Here, I've grown into a leader, a confident competitor, and an effective communicator. And you can too—no excuses, no hesitation! Remember, "Fake it until you make it," but I'm living proof that you will make it. I've overcome countless challenges, and I know you can too.

Who are we?

The Shatin Evangel Toastmasters are a group of Christians with a passion of public speaking, and we would like to help anyone improve on their communication and leadership skills. We are a bilingual Toastmasters club and conduct our meetings in English and Cantonese. Everyone can join us and as long as you want to improve on your speaking and leadership skills, you are welcomed!

Each meeting is made up of prepared speeches and evaluations, as well as opportunities for impromptu speaking. If you would like to see how a meeting is conducted, we would encourage you to come visit us!

We meet on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, with the second-week meeting being a Cantonese meeting, and the fourth-week one being an English meeting.

沙田佳音演講會是一群對演講充滿熱情的基督徒所成立的演講會，我們希望通過國際演講會這個平台，讓任何一位希望提升他們的溝通和領導才能的朋友們，都能夠在一個友善的環境中一起學習。我們是一個雙語的演講會，例會的語言是英語和廣東話。同時，我們也沒有任何參加的限制，只要您希望能夠在溝通和領導方面有所進步，我們都歡迎您！
