🌟 【恩典與歷史的交匯：九龍寨城公園生命遇見】 🌟

適逢星期一是重陽節假日，本會帶領會員及聖經香港手語班學生一同前往九龍寨城公園，參與一場極具意義的紀念活動。我們有幸與著名英國宣教士潘靈卓博士（Dr. Jackie Pullinger, MBE）會面，共同見證並感謝她自1966年獨自抵達香港以來，為香港弱勢群體服務60週年（1966-2026）。

當天活動豐富多彩，包含了生命故事分享、管弦樂演奏與精彩舞蹈。雖然晴空萬里，戶外陽光極其強烈，卻完全無礙聾健傳譯員們的密切合作。他們精準地傳譯 Jackie 的分享以及幾位弟兄深刻的生命見證，完美體現了「聾健共融」的精神。

能夠在昔日城寨的歷史現場親身見到 Jackie，大家心裡充滿感激。最令人感動的是，Jackie 特別抽出時間與我們親切交流，我們創出新手語名給她、並教她「耶穌愛你」香港手語，Jackie更溫柔地誇讚我們這班聾信徒是「上帝賜給她的禮物」！這份謙和與愛心，讓在場每位聾信徒和手語班學生都深受鼓舞，心裡滿載無比的開心與感恩。

這是一段極其珍貴、深刻且充滿祝福的生命遇見，願這份愛與共融的精神繼續傳遞下去！❤️🙏

🌟 【Where Grace Meets History: A Life-Changing Encounter at Kowloong Walled City Park】 🌟

Last Monday was a traditional Chung Yeung holiday, we HKSLBTA led our members and students from the Bible Hong Kong Sign Language Class to Kowloon Walled City Park to participate in a meaningful commemorative event. We had the privilege of meeting with renowned British missionary Dr. Jackie Pullinger (MBE) to witness and thank her for 60 years of service to Hong Kong's disadvantaged groups since her solo arrival in Hong Kong in 1966 (1966-2026).

The day was packed with vibrant activities, including life story sharing, orchestral and dance performances. Although it was a bright, sunny day with intense outdoor glare, it did not hinder the seamless collaboration between our Deaf and hearing interpreters. They accurately conveyed Jackie’s message and the profound life testimonies of several brothers, beautifully exemplifying the spirit of "Deaf-hearing inclusion."

Everyone was filled with gratitude to be able to meet Jackie in person at the historical site of the former Walled City. What was most touching was that Jackie took the time to chat with us. We created a new sign language name for her and taught her the Hong Kong Sign Language phrase "Jesus loves you." Jackie gently praised us, the group of deaf believers, as "A gift from God"! This humility and love deeply inspired every Deaf believer and sign language student present, filling their hearts with immense joy and gratitude.

This was a truly precious, profound, and blessed life encounter. May this spirit of love and inclusion continue to be passed on! ❤️🙏

💪🏻 香港聾人譯者的故事：過去、現在、將來 😊

在香港，聾人譯者曾出現在電視螢幕、社交媒體、教會、舞台等地；除此以外，也出現在很多你未必想像到的場景 —— 聾人一向在自己的社群內，以各種擅長的溝通方法，支持著彼此的需要。然而，聾人在手語傳譯專業中也會被邊緣化；比起健聽人，聾人若想成為譯者，更難找到學習資源和工作機會。

10 月對談，我們邀請了 4 位背景各異的聾人嘉賓，分享個人故事。他們當中有些常因環境所需，無奈擔當起譯者的角色；有接受過正式培訓、有志長年服務的譯者；也有剛開始體驗傳譯工作的年青一代。他們各身懷甚麼特質，可以勝任傳譯？他們在傳譯道路上遇過甚麼挑戰、又有甚麼難忘經歷？對香港手語傳譯的未來有期盼嗎？

這個網上對談，歡迎任何朋友報名。無論你本身已是行內人，或是第一次聽到「聾人也可以當譯者」，都邀請你來聆聽嘉賓的分享，了解這段走來不易的路。
