“The best training we’ve ever had here.”

We received this wonderful feedback following a recent Think Differently visit to a Montessori school.

During the session, Andy and Kim helped students better understand the laws around drugs and alcohol and gave them the opportunity to practise confidently saying “no”.

The teacher told us:

“It’s cracked open the conversation in a really comfortable way, both between the students and between students and staff.”

She described Andy and Kim as “exceptional, truly inspiring people” whose personal stories were shared with heart, authenticity and genuine care.

“They changed minds and hearts in that room. It was a day none of us will ever forget.”

Stacey Dooley’s documentary Down the K Hole is available to watch on BBC iPlayer, exploring the impact of ketamine addiction on young people and their journeys through rehabilitation.

At Kenward Trust, the need for both early education and compassionate treatment resonates strongly with our work.

Through our Think Differently programme, we help young people understand the risks of substance use and make informed choices. Alongside this, our rehabilitation services support people as they work towards recovery.

This is a conversation we need to keep having - in schools, at home and across our communities.

Our Three Peaks Challenge team from BNI Pioneer Maidstone have earned their certificates of achievement after conquering Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), raising over £5,000 for Kenward Trust.
