Hello Everyone 😊

We've been so incredibly busy, we're actually running behind on our social media updates!

🎊 We'll have some incredibly exciting news to share shortly 😆 which will have a huge impact on our service over the next year!!

👮‍♀️ We also posted on 1st October, meeting 3 Officers from Kent Police - as part of our we are running together

🏡 We had initially visited our new referral together - an elderly gent subject to financial abuse within his own home ⚠️

✅️ The Officers have taken action to ensure our elderly gent can now live safely in his own home

Enabling us at the street reach, to now visit him under lone working conditions 💙

✅️ We are slowly assisting with the current financial issues, whilst forming a trusting working relationship on a 1:1 basis 💙

Also a massive thank you🙏 to the donations received from our - see photos 📸

This has helped us to provide toiletries and food items, to some of the most vulnerable people, living in the community ❤️💙

🎁 We have also given the last of our toiletry stock from our usual Amazon list to Open Road Medway Well-being and some hand creams

🛒 We will be using some of the funding from our Just Giving to stock up once more!

👩‍👦 We also had a family reach out to us last weekend, having just moved to the area, and in need of a microwave

They were able to collect one from us, and a toiletry gift bag, with one of our (see photos 🥰) donated to us by

We also donated a pack of 2 brand new pillows, single girls duvet set, and a DIY kit for the daughter 💖

🧡💛💚 With all our toiletries, we include our ❤️ made by the wonderful "Knit and knatters" @ Fusion Maidstone

A token of thoughts & love 🧡💛💚

So glad we could help one of the
@ Breakfast Buddies 💙

💚 Some of the best support happens behind the scenes.

Trust Street Reach are always there in the background, helping us support our Buddies in all sorts of ways.

When someone needs a little extra help, advice or support, they're one of the organisations we can signpost them to. Recently, they've even helped one of our Buddies get funding for a washing machine. Something many of us take for granted, but which can make such a difference to everyday life.

And then there's Bridget, who many of you will know from our Saturday mornings. She's there week after week, offering advice, helping people find the right support and making sure our Buddies know where to turn.

Bridget has also been busy behind the scenes, contacting local shops and supermarket Community Champions, spreading the word about Breakfast Buddies and collecting donations to help us keep going. She's always looking for ways to bring people together and get more support for our Buddies. We really appreciate everything she does. 💚

We're so grateful for the work Kenward Trust Street Reach do, both the support we see and all the things happening quietly in the background.

Because Breakfast Buddies is about more than breakfast. It's about people helping people, making connections and making life a little easier where we can.

Thank you, Kenward Trust Street Reach , and thank you, Bridget. 💚

We are currently in the process of assisting with a Mandatory Reconsideration for both benefits, and awaiting to hear the outcome 👌
