Last week some of the fabulous Repair Cafe Wrecsam volunteers had a Bicycle Maintenance Session with Barry, another equally fabulous Repair Cafe Wrecsam volunteer who ALSO volunteers at Pedal Power Wrexham! 😀
Thankyou so much, Barry, for showing us how to clean the chain, adjust the gears, take the tyre off to change the inner tube and more.

The UK, generates over 1.6 million tonnes of electrical waste annually* with a large % of this ending up in landfill. Many of those items could be fixed!

Well, it was a small but great Repair Cafe at the Caia Park Partnership Ltd last Saturday 9th May. The brilliant volunteers managed to look at 11 items and repair 6. Three of the other items were repairable, but not at that session, so how great is that?
Why spend money when we can share our skills and time?
We’d like to thank ALL of the fabulous volunteers past and present for helping is in any way over the last four years… yes, Repair Cafe Wrecsam will have been running for FOUR years this June!😀🎂
