With our summer assemblies beginning to come to an end, here at Splash the work doesn't slow down! Our transition workshops for year 6's, called "It's Your Move" produced by Scripture Union, begin next week. With a good number of schools booked in, we're ready to roll. So with the workshops, and holiday club preparation, plus School Fairs and Flower Festivals, we're being kept busy and looking forward to a great summer.

Our new assemblies began today, with a visit to Fittleworth C of E Village School. With the theme of "Happy to be Me," the assembly was well received, with excited and engaged children, and no shortage of volunteers. With visits to Petworth Primary, St John the Baptist C of E Primary in Findon, Albourne C of E Primary and Shipley C of E Primary later this week, the assembly will have reached approximately 720 children by Wednesday afternoon! And this is just week 1! What a privilege it is to have an input into so many young lives, and what a responsibility we have. Here at Splash, we continually feel blessed and encouraged.

Next week begins our busiest time of the year! This summer term sees us out on the road with our assemblies and It's Your Move transition workshops, as well as holiday club planning and preparation, school fairs, flower festivals and autumn assembly planning. We're beginning to feel the heat! But we'll be ready!

Today is Good Friday, a day of reflection on Jesus Christ's ultimate sacrifice, rooted in unconditional love, compassion, and redemption for humanity.

We pray you will find strength in faith and be inspired to live with compassion, forgiveness and hope. The cross was not the end.
