What a week it’s been 💛

Busy, emotional, and at times a bit overwhelming… but truly rewarding.

From our Monday and Wednesday community lunches, the RNLI monthly lunch buffet, youth group on Monday night, and digital inclusion on Wednesday mornings — it’s been all go. We’ve also been busy preparing a special afternoon tea for over 20 people for the Age UK North Cumbria group – Salterbeck Social Easter event 🐣

It hasn’t always been easy, but seeing people come together, having a chat, a laugh, and supporting each other is what makes it all worth it.
🌟Community lunches have now finished until 13th april, us volunteers need to recharge and see family.🌟

Everyone at STAR is so grateful for each and every person who comes along and supports us — we really couldn’t do it without you.

And a big thank you to the Oval Centre for always being there for us and having our backs.

NADT Youth and The Oval Centre are teaming up with Salterbeck Youth Club for The Great Cumbrian Litter Pick 💚
Let’s come together and help clean up our streets, parks & green spaces – and have a good crack while we’re at it!

Food bank 20th march food bank opens at 11am but why not join us from 10am for a cuppa,a cake,a natter and find out what is happening at the oval centre

It's the Oval Food Pantry this Friday at 11am with the wonderful Workington Derwent Rotary Club and our fantastic volunteers from STAR salterbeck tenants and residents
Join us for a free cuppa, cake and craic from 10am
