Workington Town Boys & Girls Boxing Club welcomes membership from 7yrs +. Juniors can start Fitness/technical training with the club from the age of 7yrs at the coaches discretion, who will take into account the child's maturity and ability to follow instruction. Parents/carers of children under 10 yrs must be in attendance when the child is training. The Club provides Amateur Club Rule Competitio

n boxing opportunities for young people between the ages of 10 to 25 years. All coaching is by qualified England Boxing coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.

Well done to these two 💫

At the weekend, Marshall and Kayla showed what they are made of...

Kayla fought in a bout at the Egremont ABC home show. A very close split decision unfortunately ended in Kayla just missing the win. We are so proud of the training Kayla has put in for this one, and with her head held high, she is straight back into training. ✨️

Marshall competed in the British Youth National Champions this weekend. For Marshall's first bout of the weekend, she took the win in a 3-2 split decision on Saturday. Through, to the finals on the Sunday, Marshall came up against a 3 time National Champion. As always, Marshall gave it her all, and after a second round stoppage, she took home the win!
Massive congratulations go to the Youth Open Class National Champion! 💥

Marshall's weekend in Sweden... 🇸🇪

Over the weekend Marshall travelled with her Mum and the Athena female boxing squad to take part in the Golden Girls tournament in Sweden. ✨️

Marshall's hard work has continued to pay off into 2026... She came away from both the two boughts she fought, with gold!! 🏅

Big shout outs to the Athena Female Boxing Squad for championing Marshall all the way and also to Marshall's sponsors, who make it possible for Marshall to attend events such as this! 🙏🏻

Lastly, a huge well done to Marshall! All the boxers and coaches from Workington ABC are forever proud 👏🏻
