Tea & Support at Lyppard Hub Tea & Support is a friendly, relaxed group for people living with dementia and their carers, family and friends.

We meet on Tuesday mornings, 11am - 12.30pm at Lyppard Hub, the community centre on Warndon Villages, Worcester.

It was our Dominoes tournament at Tea
and Support group today. We all had fun swapping tables and chatting in-between games. Mary and Margaret were the champions and scooped the prize for the most wins ๐Ÿ†.
Next Tuesday is Nostalgia Week so remember to bring in your photos, memorabilia and memories of happy times to share with the group.

Today we kicked off the World Cup with a guess the flag quiz ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ. We then had plenty of target practice ...

We then had plenty of target practice with some fun indoor games with the help of Joe from Worcestershire Cricket Foundation. We also wished Mike a very Happy Birthday ๐Ÿฅณ ๐ŸŽ‚

Itโ€™s just ยฃ5 per car, with all money raised going to Dementia UK as Dementia Action Week comes to a close.

It's Dementia Awareness Week and we acknowledged it by making our lovely forget me not flowers. We also helped Chris celebrate his birthday by eating some of his delicious homemade cake. ๐Ÿฐ
We were also joined by Michelle from Caremark and Julie from NHS Primary Care Trust who offered support and advice to carers and those living with dementia. All donations received today will go to Alzheimer's Society.
