🚨Save the date Sunday 26th July at 10am🚨

We're heading to the Worcester Community Garden for a Bioblitz. We'll be surveying all the plants and critters we can find to get a good overview of the biodiversity of the area.

This is a great event for anyone interested in surveying or just wildlife in general; all experience levels are welcomed. We just ask that you try and download the inaturalist app and make a free account in preparation. Do not panic if this isn't possible come along, bring a packed lunch, and we will sort everything on the day!

We are very excited to be hosting our first Q***r Ecology Walk with Connor | Q***r Ecologist | Nature Guide ! Join us on the 30th June at 6:30pm at Perry Wood Local Nature Reserve as we challenge what we consider 'natural' and 'unnatural' in nature.

We encourage people from all backgrounds to come along and learn about the local ecology of Perry Wood, as well as the wider q***r ecology in conservation and wildlife behaviour.

This is also a great chance to come and meet new people interested in conservation, nature, and the LGBTQ+ Community. Everyone is welcome!

We had a lovely afternoon enjoying the beautiful at Astwood Cemetery and getting creative in the sunshine.

There are so many ways to connect with nature!

Join us this Saturday to celebrate nature at Astwood Cemetery, as part of Love Your Burial Ground Week.

We've teamed up with Worcester City Council and a local art teacher to run wildlife tours of the cemetery and creative sessions. You can bring your own materials, but plenty will be provided.

Come and spend some time connecting with the great outdoors!

On Wednesday, our volunteers started balsam bashing season at Northwick Lido. It was really encouraging to see the area we cleared last year completely balsam free!

As you can see, Himalayan Balsam is very shallow rooted and easy to pull up. Not to mention satisfying! We'll have plenty more sessions coming up, so this is a great time to sign up for our June email newsletter.

We had a grand old time celebrating 3 years of the Wild About Worcester Way today! 12 miles under our belts, lots of chats, and a surprising amount of sunshine.
