Catch up on what has been happening, new activities and see details about Steph's Power of Self-Esteem course starting Mon 22nd June - it's not to late to sign up or put you name forward for future courses.

The Power of Self-Esteem
Following the success of previous courses, we are excited to offer another 5-Week Course - Funded places to support re-engagement in work or community.

If you are looking to improve your self-esteem and learn techniques with practical support, this is an ideal development opportunity!

The next course is planned to start THIS MONDAY! There is still time to book or you can register your interest for the next course with Steph via 07976009087 or email The Old School Centre

When: Monday 22nd June - 20th July 2026, 10am-1pm (5 weeks)
Cost: £10 deposit + £20 materials donation request contribution

• Sarah’s Crafty Café, 10am–12pm
• Buzzy‑Bean Café, 11am–3pm
• Paracise with Helen, 12:30pm–1:15pm
• Afternoon Quiz & Games, 1:30pm
• Parish Council Meeting, 3rd Tue of month 7pm (check for summer changes)

WEDNESDAYS
• Pilates with Alison, 5:30pm–6:15pm
• Heartcare Wight Cardiac Rehab GP ref only, 6:30pm–7:30pm

THURSDAYS
• Adult Tap Dancing, 10am–11am
• Buzzy‑Bean Café, 11am–3pm
• Move & Stretch with Suki, 11am–12pm
• Knit & Knatter, 1pm–3pm (2nd & 3rd Thurs instructor)

Suki’s Adult Tap Dance Class is now running at a brand‑new time Thursday mornings and it’s the perfect activity boost. The beginners group have flourished into an intermediate group and is open for you join in with them too.

As the owner of the Isle of Wight Postal Museum, Arthur brings a treasure‑trove of stories, facts, and quirky anecdotes — all delivered in his wonderfully humorous style.

Last Friday (1st May) we welcomed the Wootton History Group who hosted their first session at The Old School Centre with professional speaker Edward Nash!

🛡️ The audience was treated to an afternoon presentation about A Knight and his Armour. Ed from Time Jump Histories was fully costumed, and engaging with many fascinating artefacts including full armour and weaponry.
