Is your child unable to return to school because there isn't an appropriate school place to meet their needs?

Link Learning provides learning through play and experiences at our accessible centre in Woking.

We offer 1-1 or 2-1 support, progressing to small groups when appropriate, for people aged 13-18 with additional needs who are unable to attend school.

Our staff are skilled and experienced in supporting young people with complex and higher support needs, helping them feel safe, build confidence, and where appropriate, transition back into education.

Please mention us to your Case Officer and ask for us to be named as your provider of choice.

Did you know LinkAble runs two gardening sessions for adults at our accessible allotment?

Whether you fancy trying your hand at woodwork alongside planting, or want to focus purely on growing, we've got a session for you.

Gardening and Woodwork | Mondays, 10am – 1pm 🌱
A relaxed way to spend time outdoors, learn new skills and make friends. Alongside growing fruits, vegetables and flowers, you can design and build practical woodwork projects like bird boxes, planters and bug hotels.

Gardening Club | Fridays, 11am – 3pm πŸƒ
Spend time in the fresh air, connect with nature, and enjoy gentle physical activity. From sowing seeds to harvesting vegetables and flowers, there's great satisfaction in watching something you've nurtured grow.

No experience is needed for either session, everyone is welcome, whether you're a seasoned gardener or have never planted a seed before.

WE DID IT! πŸ…

The Inclusive Games returned for its third year, bigger and better!

With five accessible games and a new children's area, we welcomed people of all ages to this day of sport for all.

It's hard to put into words the atmosphere on the day. Smiling, cheering and a real feeling of community πŸ’™πŸ’š

Every year we put this event on to give people with a learning disability and autistic people the opportunity to play accessible sports. From adapted cycling, Boccia, and Walking Football to our new sports β€” adapted rounders and table tennis. Everyone was able to take part and hopefully feel a bit more confident about trying these activities again in the future.

An enormous thank you to our event partner, Everyone Active. Your support makes the Inclusive Games possible, we couldn't make it happen without you. And a special mention to Jay Jones from Everyone Active, who helped us organise this event and ran the adapted rounders.

Thank you to our corporate partner, The Fidelis Foundation, for sending a team of 10 from The Fidelis Partnership to run the lucky dip and face painting stalls in our new children's area, and to support our attendees to get involved with the sports.

It was wonderful to welcome Active Surrey back again, who ran a brilliant warm-up and the smoothie bike, which went down very well!

Thank you to Surrey Wheels for All for again volunteering their time and adapted bikes to provide accessible cycling, which is such a key part of this event. And, thank you to Surrey FA for volunteering to run the accessible football games, which went down a storm.

We were delighted to have a visit from Will Forster, who got involved in our parachute games, and from Shahid Azeem who donated lots of umbrellas for rain or shine. And thank you to Cllr Rob Leach Mayor of Woking for handing out the medals at the end of the day, which gave such a sense of occasion.

To all the LinkAble volunteers who set up, packed down and gave their time all day to make sure the sports ran without a hitch β€” we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you!

But of course, the biggest thank you to everyone who attended! We loved seeing you all have so much fun. We can't wait to see you next year! ✨

Smiles, energy and lots of fun at yesterday's LinkAble Inclusive Games Day in Woking.

Our Active Surrey team loved volunteering and supporting such an amazing event, helping adults with additional needs and disabilities enjoy being active in a supportive environment.

From cheering participants on to getting involved in the activities, it was wonderful to see so much energy and joy on display.

Everyone deserves the chance to move, play and connect and community partnerships can really bring that together.

A big thank you to everyone at LinkAble for organising such a brilliant event and for creating opportunities where everyone can be active and included. πŸ’š
