Why don’t Outline always use the term LGBT to describe who they support?: You may be more familiar with the term’s Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) to

day but not everyone identifies or is comfortable with these labels, Outline want you to feel comfortable talking about sexuality and gender identity in any way that is most comfortable to you.

📣📣 It is with heavy heart that we cancel our Outline Social Gathering in June and any future social gatherings in the coming months. Due to extremely difficult funding circumstances for LGBTQ+ services, we have not been able to secure funding for this group for this year. Until funding can be sourced, our Social Gatherings will have to be suspended.

Thank you for all those that came to our gatherings. We had an amazing time with all of you. 📣📣

February is the LGBTQ+ history month. This year focuses on Science and Innovation and the impact LGBTQ+ people have had and continue to have within science and innovation.

It is important to recognise and highlight the amazing work done by LGBTQ+ people within the science sector but it is also important to remember the harm that has been done to LGBTQ+ people in the name of science.

Surrey Heritage Society is celebrating LGBTQ+ history month with a display which highlights some Surrey Q***r Pioneers, which includes Outline and our work with setting up support groups.
