Act of Remembrance at the Pilgrimage of Prayer Service held at All Saints, Banstead 🌾❤️
Members of the Mothers’ Union gathered at All Saints Church in Banstead for a deeply moving Harvest Thanksgiving and Pilgrimage of Prayer service.
Centered on the theme "All in the End is HARVEST", featuring a poignant Act of Remembrance honoring the lives and faithful service of cherished local members, including Gillian Wendy Connor (Banstead Branch - pic in collage of Wendy on her 90th birthday) and Jane Norris (Epsom St Martin's Branch).

The congregation was delighted to welcome Diocesan President Sylvia Taylor, alongside visitors and families from across the deanery.

Following the service, attendees enjoyed tea, coffee, and light refreshments together both inside the hall and outdoors in the church garden ☕🍰🌿.

We truly are a world wide organisation

This International Widows' Day, we stand alongside widows around the world, recognising the challenges many continue to face and celebrating the strength, resilience and hope they embody.

Through Mothers' Union's literacy programmes, widows are gaining more than the ability to read and write. They are building confidence, developing new skills and creating opportunities for themselves, their families and their communities.

Education has the power to transform lives, and together we are helping to ensure that widows are equipped with the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

Worldwide President Kathleen Snow shares a heartfelt message for Lent and Holy Week, reflecting on walking with Jesus through the wilderness, the cross, and the resurrection.

Her letter reminds us of the hope, new beginnings, and renewed purpose we have in Christ, especially as we celebrate 150 years of Mothers’ Union.
