🎒 School Uniform Grants Available 🎒
We are pleased to offer School Uniform Grants to help support families on a low income in the Taunton Deane area with the cost of primary and secondary school uniforms.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as:
✔️ Schools
✔️ Social workers
✔️ Support workers and other agencies
If you are working with a family who may benefit from this support, we encourage you to apply on their behalf.
Together, we can help ensure every child starts the school year feeling confident and ready to learn 💙

Every week our team work tirelessly to support children, young people and families. If we weren't here, these young people would have nowhere to go, nothing to do, and no one to talk too. We're developing futures, supporting wellbeing, and building aspiration. Could you imagine a Wednesday Without Us?

Calling Somerset’s young storytellers! ✍️🌍
Children aged 4 to 11 are invited to write an original short story of up to 500 words about food recycling for our Great Somerset Food Recycling Adventure competition.
It could be about saving the planet one peel at a time, what happens to food waste after it is collected, or how families can make a difference at home. We’re looking for creative ideas, brilliant characters and stories that help bring food recycling to life.
There are book vouchers for one winner and five runners-up, plus one participating school will win a £200 book voucher.
