Being a parent can be challenging, especially when it comes to understanding and supporting our children’s emotions. We’re delighted to invite you to a series of parent & carer webinars run by Somerset’s Mental Health Support Team designed to help you:

💬 Better understand your child’s emotional world
🧠 Build their emotional resilience
🤝 Respond calmly and confidently in tricky moments

These sessions are suitable for parents of children of all ages and will offer practical strategies you can use at home straight away.

🌟 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – JOIN OUR TEAM AT THE DEN COFFEE HOUSE 🌟

Coffee, Chat & Support CIC is looking for friendly, community-minded volunteers to support our inclusive coffee house and SEND community hub in Taunton.

We are currently looking for:

☕ Volunteer Baristas
Helping to serve drinks, welcome customers, keep the space running smoothly, and support our warm and inclusive environment. Full support and training can be provided, including neuroinclusive practice and communication approaches.

✂️ Volunteer Seamstress
Around 2 hours per week supporting our community projects.

📊 Accountant / Bookkeeping Support Volunteer
We are looking for somebody with finance or bookkeeping experience who may be willing to donate an hour or two occasionally to offer informal advice and guidance around finances and systems for our CIC. No official accountancy work is required — just supportive guidance and occasional help.

These roles would suit people who want to use their skills to support neurodivergent children, young people, parents, carers, and the wider community.
