Behind the scenes at WFR, we have a dedicated team of volunteers helping to ensure the food we distribute is safe for our community.

✅ Compliance Manager
✅ Inventory Manager
✅ Training Coordinator

Together, they help maintain one of the most food hygiene and safety-certified volunteer teams in the community food network.

Because surplus food is often close to its best-before or use-by date, their work is especially important. From volunteer training and stock management to food safety procedures, they help make sure good food is shared safely and responsibly.

If you're ever unsure how to store a product you've received from WFR, or how to get the most life out of it, just ask one of our knowledgeable volunteers. We're always happy to help. 💚🌱

🍿 POPCORN ALERT! 🍿

We've got loads of popcorn available today, so if you're a fan, make sure you stop by and grab some!

⏰ 10am–12pm

Never made popcorn from kernels before? It's easy:

🍳 Add 1–2 tbsp oil to a large saucepan with a lid
🌽 Add a handful of popcorn kernels and place over a medium heat
🎉 When the popping starts, give the pan an occasional shake
⏰ Once the popping slows to a few seconds between pops, remove from the heat
🧂 Season however you like – salt, sugar, cinnamon, paprika, or a drizzle of melted butter
