• 2 - 4 November 2026 (2 days)

8pm to 6am night-time road closures -----------------------

Corn Street and Market Square (roundabout)

Welch Way (junction with High Street)
• 4 - 7 November 2026 (3 nights)
• 11 - 13 November 2026 (2 nights)

Where night-time closures apply, roads will re-open to vehicle traffic between 6am and 8pm. The temporary one-way northbound arrangement in High Street remains in operation.

Traffic management operatives will be on site to assist business deliveries and access requirements.

Minimising Disruption

The works will be carried out in accordance with approved consents governing noise and vibration. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, some of the equipment and machinery required for these works may generate noise. The contractor will take the necessary measures to reduce the noise impact on local residents and businesses.

We apologise for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
