Dance and PMLD Network meeting with Guest Artist Cai Tomos- You’re invited!
As part of the ‘Wanna Dance?’ Programme, Cheshire Dance facilitate a Dance and PMLD Practice Sharing Network.
The network led by artists for artists, brings together practitioners and professionals from across the UK and internationally who are working with, or interested in working with, people with PMLD to share approaches, knowledge and resources. Together we explore, question, develop and inspire our practice - and each other - to ensure all people with PMLD can have opportunities to experience dance.
We’d like to invite you all to join us for the next Dance and PMLD Practice Sharing meeting:

Cai worked with Entelechy Arts’ Ambient Jam and Walking Through Walls in London for many years. He now facilitates Ambient Jam Wales at Galeri Caernarfon in North Wales in partnership with Entelechy and Antur Waunfawr, a leading social enterprise that provides work and training for individuals with learning disabilities in their community.
In this Practice Sharing meeting we will explore with Cai what supports us in our dancing with people with PMLD? What practices do we draw on to support ways of listening... ways of being… accessing presences… being with… moment by moment co-creation…? Ruth and Jane (Wanna Dance? Lead Artists) will be in conversation with Cai and invite group curiosity and discussion too.
