Well we were blessed with a prefect weather for our final Thursday evenings paddle as our Summer season comes to an end and the darker nights draw in. It was lovely getting out onto the flash, so still, tranquil and inviting. Although it was a short time out on the water, it was an opportunity to relax and enjoy the abundance of Canadian geese flying low over the water and whilst watching the sunset.

As our Thursday evening paddle draw to a close we can still get out for the last few hours before the nigh sky comes in. So, it was great to paddle out this evening chasing those clouds away and follow the rainbow down the flash and onto the Weaver navigation. As dusk fell we entered back onto the still waters of the flash and onto the club house, a short paddle but nevertheless enjoyable

Club outings to Whitmore Lakes an amazing venue for our members to paddle, swim and have an outdoor sauna, followed by a BBQ. at its best and lovely to see our members enjoying the moment.

This evenings paddle was a sheer delight. The stillness of the river and tranquil surroundings made for an enjoyable paddle, observed by a very curious alpaca. The route along the river was interrupted by newly fallen trees, the consequences of previous bad weather, challenging at times, with the odd prone paddling to progress. As the evening light fades our time on the river slowly reduces, meaning our routes become shorter , so returning to the lake as dusk fell.

What looked like it was going to be a very soggy start to our evenings paddle along the Shropshire Union canal at Barbridge, ended up being a lovely evening as the rain subsided as we launched. We paddle along the canal for a short distance before swinging right under the bridge and entered the Union canal towards Middlewich and the turn around point at the Venetian marina returning to Barbridge. A relaxing paddle across the Cheshire countryside made to a great paddle

Last evening paddle out was one of relaxation and Blue Health on the lake as the temperature soared and any thought of a distance paddle evaporated very quickly. Lovely to see our members just enjoying the water either just floating away deep in their own thoughts or practicing the skills. Sometimes the simplest of evening are the best. Nice to see our instructors working with our new members.

What an amazing and action packed weekend trip to Llyn Tegrid. From Friday night until Sunday afternoon it was all SUP fun. Saturdays paddle was reduced due to the prevailing wind increasing as we set out to paddle the lake, quick change of plan we returned to the Afon Dyfrdwy and ventured up river. The afternoon was packed with laughter and challenges as the mega boards hit the water. A great opportunity for team work and piracy with everyone getting a good soaking but able to retreat for an evening of good memories and a few campsite beers and Pimms

Great first night social at Llyn Tegrid, lovely to see our members gathering for our annual summer camp . Tomorrow will see us paddling the lake down to Bala then returning to the campsite for more fun activities on the water. Bring out the Mega boards I hear or maybe SUP Polo

A paddle up river is always a new experience, as the river meanders along its winding way down towards the Flashes. It throws up the unexpected challenges, but one we anticipate. A beautiful evening weather was perfect as we crossed the lake with a mild side wind as we entered the river.
Lovely to see another starter group on the Flash with our instructors doing taster sessions, applying those skills so new members can join the other groups later in the month

What a busy morning down at the club house. Summer working party saw us painting (including overalls) ground work and finally a clear out of our club container, which we have been threatening for many years, finally done. Great opportunity to safety check all the boards, leashes, PFD and safety kit.
