11th - 17th May is Mental Health Awareness Week which this year is focusing on action for good mental health. Many people in the screen industries have encountered mental health issues at some point. We all know that it can a busy and pressurised environment to work in, often with long hours and it stressful situations so looking after your mental health is a top priority.

The Mental Health Foundation are sharing their best, evidence-backed tips to inspire people to try a quick wellbeing boost or stick at a healthy habit with a view to making lasting changes. Different things will work for different people, so it’s worth trying a few approaches to find those that work best for you.
