🏊‍♂️ Our Cadets Are Taking on the Windsor Lions Swimathon! 🏊‍♀️

We’re incredibly proud to have a number of our cadets taking part in the Windsor Lions Swimathon again this year! 💙

The cadets will be taking on the challenge as a 55-minute relay, working together as a team to see how many lengths they can complete. 💪

All money raised will go towards supporting a unit residential course next year, helping us provide our cadets with even more opportunities, experiences and memories.

🙏 Please show your support for these incredible young people by sharing their fundraising page with your friends and family. If you’re able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, it would be hugely appreciated.

Every donation will help us give our cadets more opportunities to learn, grow and challenge themselves.

Thank you for supporting our cadets! ⚓️🏊‍♀️

What a fantastic couple of weeks for our cadets and volunteers!

We saw 10 cadets and 2 volunteers attend Berkshire Summer Camp this year. Across the 10 cadets, an incredible 15 qualifications were achieved!

A massive shout-out to LT (SCC) Ross Fleming RNR and Chief (SCC) Fran Faulkner for attending the course alongside our cadets, as well as giving up their time to instruct throughout the week. Your support and dedication make opportunities like this possible — thank you!

🎉 Congratulations to LT (SCC) Ross Fleming RNR on successfully passing his Powerboat Instructor Course! A fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to round off a very successful boating season.

We also want to say a huge well done to:
⭐ OC Mati – Int Mountain Biking
⭐ AC Alice – Gold DofE Expedition
⭐ POC Sydney – Cadet Drill Instructor

All three successfully passed their respective courses at Southern Area MACT last week. A fantastic achievement from all three! 👏

And finally, another massive thank you to Chief (SCC) Fran Faulkner for attending SA MACT and running the Paddle DofE Expedition. 🛶

A huge amount of hard work, commitment and dedication from both our cadets and volunteers over the past few weeks. We couldn't be prouder! ⚓💙

Well done everyone!

Happy Birthday to the Sea Cadet Corps and to TS Windsor Castle!

Today marks 127 years since a historic moment on 25th June 1899, when Her Majesty Queen Victoria donated £10 towards uniforms for Windsor Cadets. This was the first Royal occasion associated with the movement and is recognised as the official birthday of the Sea Cadet Corps.

Congratulations to Sub Lieutenant (SCC) Fay Williams RNR on completing all mandatory training and being formally recommended for the appointment as Commanding Officer of TS Windsor Castle.

Ma’am first joined the unit as a cadet 25 years ago and, last year, took the helm as the first female Officer in Charge, in the unit’s 125-year history.

This recommendation reflects her dedication, leadership, and long-standing commitment to both the unit and it’s cadets.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and look forward to the next chapter under her command.
