Lockswood Community Centre LCSA is a friendly & welcoming charity run Community Centre at the heart of Locks Heath. We also welcome children's parties.

The Lockswood Community Centre is a fantastic venue for all your requirements. Whilst the centre caters for various extracurricular activities, sporting groups, and dance rehearsals. With kitchen facilities and plenty of tables & chairs - we are able to cater to your event. With easy access facilities we also have baby changing facilities, disabled access, a lift, and 2 fantastic activity/meeting

rooms on the upper floor. Whether you are interested in attending one of our various classes or you would like to book a room, our facilities are available to hire for your company meetings, group activities, special events or craft fairs. Whatever the occasion you will always be guaranteed a warm welcome. Pop in and say "Hi" or make a booking over the phone or via email. Bev & Katrina are always on hand to help out with your enquiries!

💡 Exciting News for Our Hirers & Guests! 💡

We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic updates regarding recent improvements to our sports hall! 🎉

✨ Brighter & Better Lighting ✨
The main sports hall lights have now been completely replaced! You will immediately notice that the entire space is significantly brighter and more vibrant. We are confident this upgrade will greatly enhance your playing, training, and booking experience. 🏓🏸⚽🥋

🛠 Upcoming Enhancements 🛠
While the main lights are up, running, and looking great, we are finalising a couple of extra features behind the scenes to make everything absolutely perfect for you:

⏱ New Custom Digital Clock: To ensure we get the absolute best fit for our hall, a custom-made digital clock is currently in production. It is scheduled for installation in late September. We have strategically timed this during a window with zero bookings, meaning there will be absolutely no disruption or downtime to your sessions! 🙌

🔆 Streamlining the Dimmable Function: The initial dimming system supplied by the manufacturer turned out to be a bit too complex for what our facility and groups actually need. To deliver the best possible user experience, we are working closely with the contractor to streamline this into a much more user-friendly, fit-for-purpose setup.

Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm and cooperation as we continue to invest in improving our facilities.

As always, things do not quite go completely smoothly! 😅

But we are nearly there and hopefully tomorrow the sports hall lighting will be fully completed to the spec that our amazing hirers requested! 💡🎉

We are making great progress with the sports hall lighting upgrade, and we are really pleased with how things are coming along!

Just a small update: unfortunately, our new digital clock hasn’t arrived in time, so this will need to be installed at a later date.

But please do not worry — it will be sorted as soon as possible! ☺️
