There’s just one month to go until Warsash Band brings you our scorcher of a summer concert: 🎼 Musical Movement 🎵
So what can you expect?
Get ready to be swept away by music inspired by dance in all its dazzling forms 💃 From the elegance of the waltz to the energy of mambo, the drama of tango, and the spirit of Irish dance—plus favourites from stage and screen you’ll instantly recognise.
Our Main Band will be performing the stunning Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Márquez—a sensual piece full of passion, rhythm, and irresistible Latin flair. With twists, turns, and toe-tapping moments throughout, this is music that will stay with you long after the final note 🎶

🚨 BREAKING (FAKE) NEWS 🚨

After a dramatic week on the run, Samba the capybara, escape artist extraordinaire, has been spotted
🎺 at Warsash Band’s weekly rehearsal.

Eyewitnesses report Samba strolling into the rehearsal “with great confidence and questionable rhythm,” before settling herself in the alto sax section.

Band members described her as “surprisingly well‑behaved” and “significantly less chaotic than the trumpet section.”

The band wishes her well on her return home—and says she’s welcome back anytime, especially if she fancies helping pack away the chairs.

What a cracker of a spring concert! Warsash Band along with our special guests, Queen Bees, entertained the capacity crowd to a an evening of uplifting music to celebrate women in music 🎶

The programme was positively jam packed with fantastic solos, top notch performances from both training and main band, a capella greatness from QueenBees, as well as training band's spicy saxes!

We'll be posting a few tasty concert highlights for you to enjoy soon 😉

Tickets for our spring concert have now sold out! 💥 We can't wait to see you all next Saturday. We operate a waiting list for tickets, putting those that genuinely have tickets for sale in touch with those that would like to buy them, so please contact us if you'd like to be added to the list.
