Titchfield Women's Institute We are a small, friendly Womens Institute who usually meet on the 4th Monday of every month at 7.30 pm in The Village Hall, High Street, Titchfield, PO14 4AQ.

Our members’ ages range from their 40’s through to our oldest member who is 97, so there are always plenty of different ideas, stories to be told, and a wealth of WI knowledge to be tapped into! As well as our monthly meetings, which usually include an interesting (we hope) speaker, we have a craft club and a walking group,
and we arrange several outings throughout the year. In addition to these activities, we take part in the annual Hampshire Federation
darts, skittles and quiz events, and also provide lunches and afternoon teas to organisations visiting the area. So if you are looking to join a WI, where you will be made to feel welcome and make new friends,
then please come along and join us. There is no charge for the first evening, so give us a try and see if we are what you are looking for! We look forward to welcoming you.

Some of our wonderful Titchfield WI members headed out for a brilliant evening of skittles. We split into two teams for a bit of friendly competition, and it’s fair to say there were plenty of laughs, non-stop chatting, and a truly delicious meal to top it all off.
Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fun social night! Big thank you to Zoe for organising it ❤️

Last night's WI meeting was a special one as we celebrated our anniversary! 🎉
We enjoyed a lovely evening together with tea, coffee and delicious cakes, along with plenty of fun and laughter playing games. 🫖🍰🎲
Some of our members also brought along filled shoeboxes to donate to the Rotary Club, helping to spread a little joy to others.

Joining us at Titchfield WI last night was The Road From Karachi.
We discovered how the journey began and learned more about the amazing work they do across the world, installing water pumps and helping communities gain access to clean, safe water.
It was fascinating to hear about the difference these projects make and the lives they touch. A truly inspiring evening 💧🌍

Last month, we welcomed Tom and his guide dog, Toby for a special visit. Tom shared his inspiring story, telling us about his life before he lost his sight and the journey he has been on since becoming blind. He spoke about the incredible support and independence his guide dogs have given him over the years. It was a truly eye-opening experience, and everyone learned so much from hearing about his life and experiences.

Guide Dogs UK does amazing work, helping people with sight loss to live more independently, and we are grateful to Tom for sharing his story with us.
