What a day we had, warm and sometimes sunny, with the sound of laughter and cheering all afternoon as our residents competed in some fabulous games alongside friends across all our sites!

๐ŸŒฑ Help us to grow something special ๐ŸŒฑ

Our retirement village Sandford Station has planted 24 hop plants and they need looking after.

We are searching for volunteers to adopt a hop and visit weekly or monthly to water and w**d. Youโ€™ll also be helping residents living with dementia to get outside and connect with nature.

What an afternoon here at Sandford Station

Today we opened our grounds as part of the Open Gardens project in aid of
Weston Hospicecare

The sun shine and we were so wonderfully blessed to welcome Portishead Town Band / Black Nore Brass to play in the marquee for our lovely residents and visitors!

They were absolutely amazing and finished their set with a proper Somerset tribute to The Wurzels

We raised a great deal of money - we will post totals once confirmed!!
Thank you to everyone who helped out and to everyone who came and donated too

Today we started our period of celebrations at Sandford to mark our Founders week

We welcomed The Lyrica Sisters who performed a beautiful concert in the marquee.
The music and harmonies were exquisite and everyone was transfixed!

A date for your diary!!!

On Sunday 14th June we are proud to present our Open Gardens Event here at Sandford Station in aid of Weston Hospicecare

Opening at 12, come and take a self guided tour around our beautiful grounds - we have 8 acres!

Please note, maps/guides will be available when you arrive.

We have the Portishead Town Band playing in the marquee at 2pm too, so make an afternoon of it!

Cash is preferable please, price ยฃ5 pp for the tour.

Tea, coffee and cakes will be available to buy in the bowls pavilion too.

Parking on site is limited but road parking is fine.
