I met Bradley Riches at the Annakennedyonline awards. He and his husband were super cool and lovely. He has a new book out called Autistically Me which is really good and a number one best seller now. I have got my copy.
I wonder if he would like to visit my beach hut one day? Even Emmerdale superstars need a day off sometimes.
It’s been a while since someone famous has visited Mabel or Erin hut. I have had 7 famous visitors so far but of course I keep some quiet if they don’t want to be public. It’s important to respect everybody’s privacy if they want it. Who do you think would love a day at the beach hut?

Sometimes the weather can just be too wonderful for some of my more vulnerable guests.
I have just had a couple of cancellations for this week if you are wanting a tropical Mersea experience. Beach hut shade, sun cream, icecream and drink plenty of water.

Exciting summer job opportunity!
I am looking for a temporary support worker one day a week from now until September whilst one of my amazing team go off on their travels. There is the possibility of permanent hours in the future.
If you love history, military, planes, wrestling and/or gaming this could be the best job you will ever have. Must be confident in driving an electric car as daily travel is required.
Based near Stowmarket but with frequent travel to my huts in Mersea and caravan in Clacton. If you follow my page you will know some of the cool things I get up to.
£15/hour paid 4 weekly through Suffolk Independent Living

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I have had the aircon/heater installed today. It is really good. I still need to raise some more money to finish paying for it if anyone else would like to donate. (Just giving link in comments or message me for my bank details. This really will make such a difference to my visitors.

Lots of things including: profiling bed, hoist, shower chair, wet room, ramp, drip stand, baby monitor, sensory projector, toys, games, DVDs, books, colouring books and pencils, kindness cupboard of store cupboard staples, welcome food package, and lots lots more. What helps when you go away?

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to help me get a new aircon for Harry caravan. It might still be raining now but it will be hot again soon. The aircon will make a massive difference to my visitors this summer. I’m doing really well so far with donations. Yesterday I put up a new curtain rail and door curtain in Harry caravan. This really helps to make the living area darker when people are using the sofa bed in the lounge. Hopefully extra cosy lay in time for my special visitors.

I received this lovely message recently,
“Hi Ty thank you for letting us have a free break in Harry caravan. It was amazing. Having the special bed, hoist, trolley for feed pump and says monitor, shower chair and even a drip stand made such a difference. We have never tried to take J away before as we just didn’t think we could do it. We were still close enough to home that his carers could come and help me during the day which mean at I got a break too. Thank you for the lovely food parcel it made it so easy to get there and be able to give the others some lunch straight away. The lollies went down a treat too! What you give families like mine is amazing. You should be so proud. We all had such fun. Playing on the Wii was brilliant and little M loved all the toys and games. The baby monitor meant I could sit on the deck in the evening with a “little glass of something” and still keep an eye on J. He really loved the projectors too. Thank you thank you thank you from us all. Please thank all your funders, supporters and donors who help to make it happen. They will never know how much difference they make to families like us”
