Good news... a kind hearted couple stepped up yesterday after Blaze's foster took ill and they took him in last night. Here he is in his favourite place... the kitchen. Making himself at home. Fostering saves lives and provides security to a dog when they’re most in need! Thank you ❤️

FAB NEWS ALERT!

You might remember Zeus who we took in on the day he was due to be put to sleep, for "aggression" against people and dogs.

Whilst under our care he lost weight and investigations revealed he had a massive 30cm kidney tumour. He had surgery to remove it and biopsy results showed it was a Wilms' tumor, a rare, highly malignant cancer that can impact young dogs (he's only four).

Whilst he was under Paddy's, Celandine Wood Animal Rescue kindly took him into their kennels since we don't have our own.

Staff had been sensible given the history we were given and had a muzzle on him but he's been great with people and dogs! Perhaps he was in pain.

And so the kennel manager Eve took him how a few weeks ago as she'd taken a shine to him to foster. And after proving he can get along with her dogs great, we have a failed foster!

We are so grateful to Eve ❤️❤️❤️ Zeus would have been a difficult dog to rehome frankly because he has a 50% chance of the cancer returning and not many people will take on a dog that could cost thousands.

Thank you again to all who donated for Zeus. As always, saving a dog is team work 😍

DESPERATE. Blaze will have no home in a few days and I don't know what to do. People have applied and then not responded or pulled out. I know he won't cope in kennels and we have no funds to commit to that either. I am begging for a foster! Needs pet free and child free as he can have moments of mouthing that needs working on.
