🚨🐾 SOS – PADDY’S DOG RESCUERS IS IN CRISIS. WE ARE FACING FINANCIAL COLLAPSE 💔 🐾🚨
I never thought I would have to write a post like this, but I am genuinely terrified for the future of my little rescue. 😢
I'm sitting here in tears, struggling to sleep at night because of the financial pressure. The worry is overwhelming, and I honestly don't know how much longer we can keep going without help.
💔 WE HAVE JUST £31.62 LEFT IN OUR RESCUE BANK ACCOUNT. 💔
Yes, just £31.62 to care for the dogs who depend on us.
A series of unexpected, enormous veterinary bills has completely wiped us out. We are drowning in debt, bills are mounting, and we are desperately trying to keep our heads above water.
These aren't just numbers on a page. These are real dogs, with real needs, who rely on us to keep them safe, fed, warm and cared for. 🐶❤️
💔 HOW DID WE GET HERE?
We've faced some heartbreaking and incredibly expensive veterinary emergencies, including:
🐾 Zeus the Rottweiler, who needed major surgery to remove a massive cancerous tumour.
🐾 Skye the Staffie, who needed treatment for an astonishing 50 mammary tumours.
🐾 Lennie the English bull mastiff cross, who needed a scan for a suspected torn ligament.
We couldn't turn our backs on these dogs when they needed medical help. But doing the right thing for them has left our little rescue in a frightening financial position.
🚨 THE REALITY OF OUR FINANCES 🚨
💔 £1,272.08 – OUTSTANDING VET DEBT
We have a repayment arrangement of £318.02 every month to clear this debt. If we cannot keep up with these payments, we risk the debt being passed to a collection agency and potentially facing further recovery action.
💔 £220 EVERY SINGLE WEEK – KENNEL FEES
Our beautiful girls Mollie, a Shar Pei, and Cleo, an Old English cross, are still in commercial kennels.
What was only ever meant to be temporary has now turned into A YEAR.
A year of kennel bills. A year of waiting for someone to give them a home. And heartbreakingly, they are getting no interest at all.
That's nearly £1,000 a month just to keep these two girls safe.
💔 £100 – URGENT VACCINATIONS
Mollie and Cleo are both overdue their annual booster vaccinations, which are especially important while they are living in commercial kennels.
💔 BLAZE NEEDS OUR SUPPORT TOO
Our lovely Blaze (his family who we rescued from a hell hole pictured) is in foster care, and his food was costing us over £100 a month. Thankfully, thanks to some wonderful people who donated through his new Amazon wish list, he now has enough food for the next month. ❤️
That is one less thing keeping me awake at night, and I cannot thank those people enough.
However, Blaze is also overdue his flea and worming treatment.
💔 THE HARDEST PART OF ALL...
We have had to CLOSE OUR DOORS TO ALL NEW RESCUE INTAKES.
Every single week, messages arrive asking us to help dogs in desperate situations.
Dogs facing uncertain futures. Dogs needing somewhere safe. Dogs with nowhere else to turn.
And I have to say NO. 😭
It absolutely breaks my heart.
Rescuing dogs is what Paddy's exists to do. But we have a responsibility to the dogs already in our care, and right now we are struggling to meet even their most basic needs.
We cannot save any more dogs until we can financially support the ones we have already promised to protect.

That kindness meant more than I can put into words. ❤️
