In July 2011, in a bid to raise £375,000 for childhood cancer research at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool, where Calday pupil Matthew Cullen is currently being treated with Leukaemia, Calday Grange Grammar School cross country squad (+ more!) will be staging a 1000mile+ relay from Lands End at the the foot of England, to John o'Groats at the tip of Scotland. It will involve approximately 500 stage
s of about 2 miles each, and we are inviting Caldeians, Calday parents + staff (past and present) and Old Caldeians to help in any way (doesn't have to be running!)
