La Leche League Hertfordshire

La Leche League Hertfordshire LLL Hertfordshire is a voluntary support group, led by trained breastfeeding counsellors ('Leaders'). Babies and toddlers are always welcome.

Support and information for breastfeeding families through group meetings, online sessions, antenatal courses, and one-to-one support via phone, email or text from La Leche League Leaders (breastfeeding counsellors). We are dedicated to providing support, information and education for anyone who wants to breastfeed. Anyone who is pregnant or interested in breastfeeding is very welcome to join our meetings, whatever age and stage you’re at, from bump to weaning.

It's hot in some parts of the UK! 🌞 Even in very hot weather your exclusively breastfed baby doesn’t need additional water, but they will probably want to breastfeed more. It's good to offer. The composition of your breast milk will change in response to the need of your baby - a higher water content in the hot weather and a higher fat content in the colder months.

❤️‍ Come to ask questions, share your experiences or just hang out with other breastfeeding parents and families.
💙 You don’t have to have a problem to attend. We have access to lots of resources to inform and encourage breastfeeding parents.
