Very pleased to see that the cycle path from Stanborough Park up to Gosling Stadium has had a much needed prune with the edges cut back to the point the old double yellow lines are visible. The big test will be how this works for tricycle riders. Can you now cycle this path and keep all your wheels on the cycle side of the white line?

The St Albans Green Ring, an easy ride along the Alban Way from Hatfield. Note there is some on road riding (dashed lines) if cycling with children.

The network of paths encircles the city centre. It's a continuous walking and cycling route covering 6.5 miles of open space, parks, nature reserves, and heritage sites.

Members of WelHatCycling and the local Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) group from East Herts Sustrans Rangers Group have now done two working parties tacking the overgrown edge of the former Lemsford Road Halt in Hatfield on the Alban Way, National Cycle Network route 61. We've cleared about half the length of the platform.
