This is the first time we are trialling our produce over at Walton Gardens with an honesty box - we hope it's a success!

Yesterday, our Learner & Community Engagement Group continued developing their Makaton skills as we progress through Stage 2 Makaton! 🤟💚

It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, practising new signs and building their confidence in communicating with others. 🌟

We’re so proud of the progress everyone is making and can’t wait to see their skills continue to grow! 👏

Our home-grown veg is looking fresh and fabulous ... this morning our freshly grown plums have crashed the "veg party" and are stealing the limelight!

Our amazing Jack has been busy getting stuck in and building this planter from scratch! 🔨👏

A little bit of measuring, cutting, sanding and assembly… and just look at what he’s created! 💪✨

We love seeing our learners turn their skills into something practical, purposeful and beautiful. 🌿💚

🌿🌸 Busy bees in the community! 🌸🌿

Our Learner & Community Engagement team have been super busy this month, getting stuck in and helping to care for some very special community spaces. 💚

From looking after the flower beds at Fearnhead Cross Community Centre, tending to Moore RUFC’s Memorial Garden, to nurturing the vegetable patch at St Thomas' & St Mary Magdalene's Church, our learners have certainly kept busy!

There’s been plenty to do, such as litter picking, deadheading, weeding, watering, planting, harvesting, seed saving, brushing, trimming… and plenty of muddy work boots along the way! 😂👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Everyone has worked incredibly hard, and it’s been wonderful to see just how much pride our learners take in their work. The gardens are all looking beautiful, but more importantly, our guys have been practising some incredibly valuable, real world life skills along the way. 🌱

We’re so grateful for these opportunities to support our local community, strengthen connections and work together to create and nurture little patches of beauty. 🌼

A huge well done to everyone involved, you’ve all been absolute superstars! ⭐💚

🎨✨ Mosaic Magic in the Craft Group! ✨🎨

On Monday, our Craft Group got creative as they explored the colourful world of mosaic art! 🧩

After doing some research and taking inspiration from different designs, everyone chose their own colours and patterns before carefully selecting their tiles. 🎨

Then came the messy (but very satisfying) part… grouting and cleaning! 😄 With plenty of laughter, singing and a whole lot of creativity along the way, our learners worked hard to bring their designs to life.

And just look at the results! 🥰 We think they’ve created some absolutely stunning mosaic pots! 🌈🪴

A fantastic session filled with creativity, teamwork and plenty of fun. Well done, everyone! 👏💚
