We encourage our ethos of bringing back the camaraderie of the time we all served within the forces and at the same time supporting our local community.

Crosfields Rugby Club are once again immensely proud to host Warrington Armed Forces Day and the 15th Annual 'Sephton 'Trophy festival!!! it’s going to be the biggest and best FREE day(s) out yet! FRIDAY NIGHT AND ALL DAY SATURDAY!
AMAZING games of and SO MUCH MORE! Military Vehicles, Military Stands, Stalls and activities, Rugby and Community organisations, inflatable obstacle courses, a FAIRGROUND and more and more!
The rugby… Friday Night Lights sees the Royal Marines Masters up against the RAF Rugby League Masters, followed by the inaugural DAVE BODEN CHALLENGE CUP between the Crosfields LEGENDS and the Army Rugby League Masters in 80 minutes of FULL CONTACH , Open Age Rules Rugby! WOW!!
Saturday opens at 10:00with the fantastic 3 - Way Masters Tournament between Crosfields Masters, United Kingdom Armed Forces Rugby League Masters and GB Police Rugby League Masters
Then…
Game 1 at 11:30 gets the senior rugby off to a BANG and sees the annual rematch as the Royal Marines Rugby League once again go into battle against the 'Young Guns' of the Army Rugby League Development XIII. The Army went back to back and took the spoils last year to lift the 'Birdsall Bowl', but we KNOW the 'Bootnecks' are spoiling for this one! A comprehensive win over Wigan St Patricks A.R.L.F.C has confirmed so much talent in their ranks! This game always promises to be an absolute belter, hard fast and aggressive rugby league!
Kicking off at 1:30 Game 2 and the local, all Infantry, derby is back as The Mercian Regiment return from Operations to take on The Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment It’s a game of epic proportions, mate against mate with Regimental pride at stake and one of the most bone crunching games that you’ll see all year, don’t miss this!
Game 3 and, let's not mess about... the MAIN EVENT of the Armed Forces Day and the 'Sephton 'Trophy Festival. Kicking off at 3:30 The Crosfields ARLFC Select XIII will once again take on the might of the Army Rugby League Senior XIII!
2025 saw the Army retake the trophy from a Crosfields Team packed full of talent. End to end spectacular Rugby League, the players putting their body on the line for their mates and comrades time and time again. A stunning display of a will to win that has been instilled in them over generations ... and the Army side isn’t bad either! Join us on Armed Forces Day for the very best in Rugby.
But there’s so much more than ‘just’ the rugby on display.
The fantastic FREE festival is a wonderful day out with FREE gifts and activities for the kids, Inflatable Obstacle Courses, Paintball and Airsoft Rifle ranges, Fairground rides and stalls, Face painting and more.
Then there are the Armed Forces information stands, stalls displays and military vehicles to climb all over! There are activities to keep EVERYONE interested and occupied!
Then let’s not forget the HUGE Charity Raffle & TOM'bola with some truly amazing prizes!!
There's food and 'liquid refreshments' (4 BARS!) available at Rugby Club prices! and so much more, with more being added almost daily!

Its been ten years since the Veteran Charity first started here in Warrington and we have decided to celebrate in style with a larger than ever before Party in the Park 2026 working alongside the local community who have supported us for so long!

We want Warrington and in particular Orford and Longford to showcase what talented people we are and small businesses to showcase what they do.

From a Licenced Bar, Craft Stalls, Children's fun and games, toys, sweets, cakes, drinks, sandwiches, Live music, dancers, Singers, bands and so much more we warmly welcome you to Orford Park to have a day of fun. Please pass this on and share with your family and friends to make sure that we celebrate our community like never before!!!
