Just a couple of things to make you aware of for the 2026 Party in the Park!

The car park next to our centre will have very restricted parking between 6am - 10.30am whilst we organise the stall holders vehicles onto the park and move vehicles and equipment around. The Car park will reopen from 10.35am and the event starts at 11am.

Parking close to the Centre is limited. However, you can park on the Livewire car park (next to decathlon) which is less than a 5 minute walk to us. Just follow the music!

Please do not park on Alder Lane when our Car Park gets full. Residents close to us are supporting this event and we do not want to create an issue with cars blocking drives or left outside peoples houses.

The police are attending the event not only as an activity for the children but monitoring illegal parking half on half off the pavement on Alder Lane, please lets make the day the best we can.

Dogs are more than welcome and we will ensure that there are Water bowls dotted around in the park for the pooches!

Due to the heat there will be emergency hydration points free of charge funded by the Veterans where we can supply bottled water to anyone who may be struggling with the heat.

Please bring your own chairs or blankets and picnics to enjoy the day and the music, there will be food and drink, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic to hand if you feel spontaneous!!

A First Aid Point and Lost Children will be located within the centre throughout the event.

This is the first time in my 56 years that an event with Live music and the amount of stalls and activities has been organised in this park and we really want this to be a yearly event. An event we can mark in our Orford and Longford Diaries each year.....

We would love to see as many people as we can at this free event and hope that you understand these simple ground rules and information.

Its a family day so why not bring the dog! There are prizes to be had on the day, so why not walk your puyppy, pooch or mature movers over to the park and see if you can win!

Not only do we have a top band to headline the party we have some fantastic bands and singers and our very own DJ to oversee the event... All completely free!!!!

We’re proud to share that Armed Forces Community Support (AFCS) — a registered charity supporting the Armed Forces community across Cheshire and Cheshire West and Chester for ten years — is now part of the VALOUR‑recognised centre network, the UK’s new nationwide system for veteran support.

Becoming part of this network means AFCS will help connect local veterans and families to a wider range of trusted services, ensuring people can access the right support at the right time.

AFCS will work alongside our established partners:

Veterans HQ (Liverpool)

Veterans in Communities (Lancashire)

Together, we will strengthen support across the North West, improving access, coordination, and pathways for the Armed Forces community.

Across Greater Manchester, Armed Forces Community HQ, based in Wigan, continues to lead support for veterans and families, ensuring consistency across the region.

Joining the VALOUR network deepens AFCS’s links with organisations locally and nationally, helping veterans and families in Cheshire navigate support more easily and confidently.

Crosfields Rugby Club are once again immensely proud to host Warrington Armed Forces Day and the 15th Annual 'Sephton 'Trophy festival!!! it’s going to be the biggest and best FREE day(s) out yet! FRIDAY NIGHT AND ALL DAY SATURDAY!
AMAZING games of and SO MUCH MORE! Military Vehicles, Military Stands, Stalls and activities, Rugby and Community organisations, inflatable obstacle courses, a FAIRGROUND and more and more!
The rugby… Friday Night Lights sees the Royal Marines Masters up against the RAF Rugby League Masters, followed by the inaugural DAVE BODEN CHALLENGE CUP between the Crosfields LEGENDS and the Army Rugby League Masters in 80 minutes of FULL CONTACH , Open Age Rules Rugby! WOW!!
Saturday opens at 10:00with the fantastic 3 - Way Masters Tournament between Crosfields Masters, United Kingdom Armed Forces Rugby League Masters and GB Police Rugby League Masters
Then…
Game 1 at 11:30 gets the senior rugby off to a BANG and sees the annual rematch as the Royal Marines Rugby League once again go into battle against the 'Young Guns' of the Army Rugby League Development XIII. The Army went back to back and took the spoils last year to lift the 'Birdsall Bowl', but we KNOW the 'Bootnecks' are spoiling for this one! A comprehensive win over Wigan St Patricks A.R.L.F.C has confirmed so much talent in their ranks! This game always promises to be an absolute belter, hard fast and aggressive rugby league!
Kicking off at 1:30 Game 2 and the local, all Infantry, derby is back as The Mercian Regiment return from Operations to take on The Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment It’s a game of epic proportions, mate against mate with Regimental pride at stake and one of the most bone crunching games that you’ll see all year, don’t miss this!
Game 3 and, let's not mess about... the MAIN EVENT of the Armed Forces Day and the 'Sephton 'Trophy Festival. Kicking off at 3:30 The Crosfields ARLFC Select XIII will once again take on the might of the Army Rugby League Senior XIII!
2025 saw the Army retake the trophy from a Crosfields Team packed full of talent. End to end spectacular Rugby League, the players putting their body on the line for their mates and comrades time and time again. A stunning display of a will to win that has been instilled in them over generations ... and the Army side isn’t bad either! Join us on Armed Forces Day for the very best in Rugby.
But there’s so much more than ‘just’ the rugby on display.
The fantastic FREE festival is a wonderful day out with FREE gifts and activities for the kids, Inflatable Obstacle Courses, Paintball and Airsoft Rifle ranges, Fairground rides and stalls, Face painting and more.
Then there are the Armed Forces information stands, stalls displays and military vehicles to climb all over! There are activities to keep EVERYONE interested and occupied!
Then let’s not forget the HUGE Charity Raffle & TOM'bola with some truly amazing prizes!!
There's food and 'liquid refreshments' (4 BARS!) available at Rugby Club prices! and so much more, with more being added almost daily!

Its been ten years since the Veteran Charity first started here in Warrington and we have decided to celebrate in style with a larger than ever before Party in the Park 2026 working alongside the local community who have supported us for so long!

We want Warrington and in particular Orford and Longford to showcase what talented people we are and small businesses to showcase what they do.

From a Licenced Bar, Craft Stalls, Children's fun and games, toys, sweets, cakes, drinks, sandwiches, Live music, dancers, Singers, bands and so much more we warmly welcome you to Orford Park to have a day of fun. Please pass this on and share with your family and friends to make sure that we celebrate our community like never before!!!
