As part of our democracy work, today we went and watched the film Suffragette. Learning how women had to fight for the right to vote, and appreciating the sacrifices they made.

Last night's full moon is a time to release what no longer serves us.
We had another great week and as an organisation we are releasing all the old ways of how things have been done for too long. We don't speak for families, we make opportunities for families to be the speakers. We have an amazing, diverse group of women coming together who are speaking out, and wanting answers. No more stand alone meetings where families get to share their experinces and never hear anymore about it, we are focused on keeping the conversations going, something that has been missing all these years. It feels exciting and there is hope that we can push for change. We are reaching out and asking for organisations to become a network around families to provide safety and bring about change, and we have had a really good response this week. Our Ann spoke at an Anti Racist Wales Housing and Regeneration Stakeholder group and we have organisations showing support and wanting to learn more to be able to help families. There and Back Again are very lucky to have the support and trust from families, who want to be a part of what we are trying to do and like what we stand for. Thank you to all the families who support us and want to be a part of this little organisation, because without you we would be nothing ❤️
