So here it is, the moment you have all been waiting for.... well all of you that entered the sweep stake anyway.

According to the screen shot of my OS maps track taken as I crossed the line, I came in at 14:11:00. Which makes the winners are:
1st place : Anna Thornley with your guess of 14:10:12
2nd place : Nancy and Mike with your guess of 14:12:00

So that's it, it's all done! The 34km I thought I was going to do ended up being 39.5km, I'll figure out the exact totals tomorrow.

It was nice to get into Aberyswyth to a warm welcome from family and friends as well as the Aberystwyth Cats Protection and Cardiff & Vale Cats Protection branch as well some lovely people that have been supporting my efforts almost the way round.

And we're off!

This time tomorrow I'll be running down the coast towards Aberyswyth with the finish line almost in sight. It's been quite a journey and I think I have saved the best but till last!!

As the finish line comes into sight I’m immensely proud of what I have achieved and what I have raised to help cats across Wales. The total currently stands at £2,380 and if you want to help push me a bit closer to my target then why not see what you could win by entering a sweep stake? Take an educated guess on my exact finish time?

The final leg will be on Saturday the 25th of January, its 34km with 1045 meters of climbing from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth and the OS maps screen shot shows the exact route I will take. I'll start at exactly 09:00 on Saturday morning, so what time will I roll up at the bandstand in Aberystwyth, will it be 12:00 or will it be 15:00, or will it be somewhere in between?......

So far we have three great prizes that have been donated to the cause and I want to say a huge thank you Folly Farm, Cashells of Crickhowell and Crickhowell Adventure for supporting me. The winner will get first choice of:

23.2 km today, so a bit bit further than predicted, but a really nice day up in the hills, plenty of sunshine and still plenty of ice on the higher ground.

Not a bad start to the penultimate day if this 21 marathons challenge!

For those that are interested I just did a couple of sums this evening. I've now run a total of 830.5km or 519 miles or 19.8 marathons. Two more runs left to cover the remaining 55km or 34 miles or 1.3 marathons. What's left plus what I've done comes to the grand total of........

885km or 553 miles or, wait for it......................... 21.1 marathons, all for Cats Protection!!

The gorgeous boy in the pics is Mr Dumpling and he is available for adoption from the Aberyswyth Branch. Check out tier FB and website to find out more about him, although, I may want him myself!! 😍

Another 30km in probably the coldest and iciest conditions I've ever been out running in. The first 2km out of Barmouth and crossing the viaduct was sooo slippy we could barely walk!!

Still I managed to get to Aberdovey and got sand blasted on the final beach section. When I didn't have sand in my eyes I'm sure I could see Aberyswyth!
