A massive thank you to all who came to our community day! Despite the rainy start, the sun came out and we were blessed!

We started with moving tires and wood chipping, then enjoyed a yummy lunch (no photos, sorry!). A foraging walk and some weeding rounded off the day. It was so lovely seeing new faces - we hope to see you all again next time 🌝🍄‍🟫🌟🌟

Our next community day is approaching and this time it’s all about vegetable gardening! Bring and share your skills and we’ll bring the lunch 😸⭐️ No experience is needed just a relaxed day with like minded people :)

What to expect:
- Homemade vegan food.
- A guided walk in an ancient woodland.
- Vegetable bed building.
- Compost tending!

The Ceilidh is 1 day away yay!! Tickets are now sold out but a big thank you to everyone that got tickets! Here at Kin hill we’ve been busy cutting out stars and making prizes for the raffle ⭐️😸

Part 1 of Craft night for the Ceilidh !

We started off by making bunting to hang in Dacre Hall from Lulu’s old fabric 😸😸

Celebrating Imbolc round our new fire pit with poems and crafting Bridget’s cross (as it’s Bridget’s day) !

Imbolc is the mid way point between the winter solstice and equinox and means in the belly. It asks us to pause and notice the turning of the year - seeds of spring are being sown!

The full moon also fell on this day which made the atmosphere extra magical ⭐️ swipe till the end and you’ll see us setting up the fire pit by rolling a giant log for a seat ( it wasn’t easy)

How blessed we are to have such delicious food at our community day!! ⭐️ Eating together is so special, to take a break, chat about what we’ve been doing / want to do in the afternoon and get some energy for more volunteer work😸😸
A big thanks to Lulu and Josh for cooking but also the plants, the farmers and of course the sun! 🌱🫛
