Creative Minds Creative Minds (South West Yorkshire Foundation Trust) This has benefited over 4000 people. It is a social movement that is transforming lives.

At Creative Minds, we are integrating creativity and the arts into mainstream health and wellbeing practice. We deliver and run projects for local people, to develop individuals’ and communities’ mental, physical and psychological wellbeing. Our approaches around creative activities, sports and hobbies are developed to:


- Boost confidence and self-esteem by providing opportunities to discover ne

w, exciting activities and experiences.

- Develop social skills and social integration by offering chances to connect with like-minded people.

- Create a sense of purpose by creating communities around shared passions.

- Improve quality of life by making new friends at the events and activities hosted by us and our partners. Since its launch in November 2011 Creative Minds has delivered more than 150 creative projects in partnership with over 50 community organisations. Creative Minds is altering the perceptions of how we deliver our services.

Our wonderful Finance Manager is retiring and we are looking to recruit a new Freelance Finance Manager to support Creative Recovery in a time of change and growth. This post will work collaboratively with the Creative Recovery team and Trustees to ensure that Creative Recovery is operating in an accountable and responsible way.

16-20 hrs per month on a flexible basis (2-3 day equivalent).

FREELANCE RATE OF £26 PER HOUR

We are pleased to announce that Creative Minds is now open for funding applications to benefit people who live in Kirklees and calderdale

Creative Minds, an award-winning charity hosted by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, is now open for funding applications from local not-for-profit organisations and groups to provide creative activities (arts, leisure, recreation, horticulture, physical activity and sport).

We have limited funding and organisations can apply for funding £800- £2000 (max of £1,000 for small, constituted groups). This funding will enable local not-for-profit organisations or groups to deliver a variety of creative initiatives to benefit health and wellbeing. We recommend all potential applicants get in touch before applying especially if they are new to us or haven’t worked with us for a while

Closing date: 4pm Friday 31st Oct 2025
Decisions by: 28th Nov 2025
For projects starting in late Jan 2026 onwards
