For young people 11-30 to share their thought about life, work, eduction and opportunities available to them. It’s a great way to share Young People’s lived experiences. Please share open until 8th June

One in six young people could be out of education, employment, or training within the next five years unless we take urgent action.

We cannot allow a lost generation.

To respond properly, we need to understand the challenges our young people are facing, in their own words - not make assumptions.

The Youth Voice Census is a chance for young people to share their experiences and help shape the support and opportunities available to them.

It doesn’t take long, but the impact could be significant.

☀️💧 STAY SAFE AROUND WATER THIS SUMMER 💧☀️

As the weather gets warmer, more children and young people are spending time near rivers, canals, lakes and reservoirs across the Wakefield district.

While water can look calm and inviting, it can be dangerous at any time of year. Cold water shock, strong currents and hidden hazards can all increase the risk of drowning, even on hot days. The risk is real and drowning can happen in seconds.

Our new Water Safety Awareness Poster shares important information to help young people stay safe, look out for their friends and know what to do in an emergency.
