In one week's time we will be well into the second of out Faith based Youth Work Insight series: Learning from Youth Work in Faith Communities: Creating inclusive and empowering spaces for young people.

Join us on Tuesday 8 September, 12pm–1.30pm for an expert panel discussion, exploring the distinctive contribution of faith-based youth work and how faith communities can create supportive environments where young people feel included, heard and able to explore identity, faith, values and leadership.

Meet the panellists:

Paul Cable – Lecturer in Youth and Community Work at Moorlands College where he teaches on the JNC-programme bringing together youth work practice and Christian theology. Paul has more than a decade of experience working with young people across churches, charities and community settings.

Jill Appleton – as National Director at The Feast, Jill leads programmes that equip young people to build friendships across cultural and faith differences. With 30 years’ experience in education, Jill has developed and delivered initiatives that help young people grow in confidence, resilience and community engagement

Canon Rachel Gardner – as Director of Partnerships at Youthscape Rachel has more than 20 years’ experience in Christian youth ministry. Rachel is also an author and host of the Talking Youth Ministry podcast

Pall Singh - a trustee of Sikh Welfare Pall has built his expertise in child safeguarding, focusing on areas such as bullying, grooming, the dangers of social media, and the risks associated with alcohol and drug substances.
